Suki's widened eyes flitted between the two as their transaction traspired. Why did she suddenly feel as if she'd just been dropped into the middle of a soap opera? Sighing, she looked between the curtain that now hid the.. man..? from view and the door where Ruri had just escaped.

A frown drew the corners of her ruby lips down sharply. That person had been a man. From the way he spoke just then... She'd delt with plenty of drag queens before, and she was willing to bet... That was her brother's "Tai-chan".

Murmering an apology to the three people still out in the front of the shop, she went through the curtains to the bag. With his bright blue hair, it didn't take too terribly long to locate the distraught man.

"Sumimasen... I don't mean to intrude, but are you alright?" she asked, tilting her head to the side as she looked him over.

It took several shuddering moments to regain control of his racing, aching heart. His wig slipped back, the weight of his loosened hair dragging it off. He picked it up off the floor, looking at it but not really seeing it too lost in his own thoughts. What was he thinking breaking down like that, allowing his personal life to interfere with work? But I'm an actor, he thought as he started taking the few remaining pins out of his hair, letting it spill down his back. We draw on real emotions to play parts... Well, now he had to draw on a sense of calm, no matter how false, even though he desperately wanted to run away. Professionalism...

He lifted his head at her voice, revealing a smile and the faint reminants of tears. "Hai. Sumimasen. That was very rude of me."

He focused on the beautiful girl next to him, her dramatic face showing concern. "Are you... another assistant of Ayame-san's?"

"Ironically enough," she answered with a ruefull smile as she fished for something in her purse, "I was hired about, oh, two seconds before you came out." Finding what she was looking for, she looked back up to him, tilting her head to the side again. "Forgive me if I'm jumping to conclusions, but you look just as Mori-chan discribed... Are you by any chance Kaza Taitou?"

Pulling her hand from her purse, she offered him a white linen hankerchief embroidered with grand cru lilies on one corner.

He took the handkerchief automatically, lightly touching it to his cheeks trying not to get too much make-up on the fine fabric. "Hai, I'm Kaza Taitou." He didn't recognize her face and it wasn't one you'd forget easily. Neither was the faint hint of perfume on the square of linen. He handed it back to her and asked, "Mori-chan? Do you mean Atsumori-kun?" Oh... a new girlfriend. He does have excellent taste in women. And for some reason, the thought just made him feel worse.

"Hai," she answered but waved off the hankerchief. "Keep it, hun. You look like you might need to use it again. Oh! I suppose I should tell you my name. How silly of me. Kaza Mitsuki. I'm Mori-chan's older sister. You know, he thinks quiet highly of you, Taitou-san. I think he must have gone on about you for nearly half an hour, where as everyone else got at most five minutes, when he was telling me about all of our... inner family."

The rest of her words fell on deaf ears as his thoughts clamoured in his head and his eyes went round with shock. Atsumori's older sister? He never mentioned one. Maybe he didn't even know about her, but they already seemed so close. When did she get here? Was she cursed as well? Was she one of the "lost" signs?

It was too much to think about and time was slipping away from him. The sun had been setting when he stepped past the curtain which meant his call time was fast approaching. Later. This can all wait until after the show. He smiled appologetically and bowed low. "Mitsuki-san, I very much want to sit and find out more about Atsumori-kun's unknown older sister, but I'm afraid I haven't the time right now. I know this is horribly rude of me, but the fitting has gone longer than I expected and I must go." His eyes met her's hopefully. "Please, stop by my house later tonight if you have time and are not too tired."

[[I know people are anxious for the time jump, so I'm cutting this short. ^^;;]]

"Tonight? Oh, I would love to, but..." she answered with a shake of her head. "Gomen, sweetheart, but Jun-san's taking me clubbing and I plan to get nicely sloshed. How about tomorrow morning? We can go grab a bite for breakfast before I come into work."

He looked at her as though she was speaking in a foreign language. Jun-san? Clubbing? His smiled returned though and he nodded. "Ah, yes! Breakfast would be good. Stop by a little before we have to leave. I'll be ready."

"Ayame-san," Mine called from near the back of the room. "The telephone's for you."

"Cooomiiing~!" he answered, still wondering exactly what the spectical in the middle of his showroom had been all about. With a radiant smile and quick apology to Tohru, he pranced off to the back and picked up the line.

"This is Ayame. ... Ah, Gure-san! How good to hear from you~! Still faithful, I hope? ... And my heart to pounding... YOSH! Hahaha. So, to what do I owe the pleasure of your call? ... I see. Thank you. ... I understand. My lips are sealed. ... I'll stop by later tonight, if that's alright? ... Goodbye."

Frowning in contemplation, he hung up the phone. However, when he turned back around, he'd replaced the smile on his lips. "Tohru-kun, be a dear and set an extra place at the table for me tonight, alright, Princess?"

"Ah... hai!" Tohru said, nodding quickly. "Will you be joining us tonight? How unexpected!" Briefly, she wondered if there was enough food in the house for an extra person. How lucky that we went to market yesterday! There should be plenty to go around, even if I have to make something extra... I just hope they don't mind if it's a little late, since I won't get off work until... she glanced at her watch. Her eyes widened. "Sou na! I have to get to work!" Turning, she bowed quickly- but politely- to Ayame. "Sumimasen! I will see you tonight!" And with that, she turned and dashed out the door.
